Lions are often symbols of power and loyalty. Asad's name literally means 'lion'. His design is based on a lion. Asad is a lion. Of course he'd come! He was also the first character in this cast I drew. When I wrote his character I knew immediately what he looked like and couldn't wait to get that idea on paper!
